No special settings when burning the iso. Roxio is just fine.

hey there jamiejrg!
this will happen if you attempt to burn in data mode. So you will see what you presently have on screen due to this. How do you fix it? Pretty simple. You make sure that you burn it as an xiso. When I use this method it works just fine. Others may have also succeeded in just burning an iso, but xiso is more compatible from my personal experience and what I've read up to thus far.

Burn as an image not a data cd. Don't know how to do that in roxio as personally I hate roxio, I use nero, alcohol 120%, or dvd-decrypter, they all seem to burn decent images.

No worries guys, i got it i just did a fatx install.
New question tho
I'm pretty sure it possible to install normal programs such as msn, morpheus etc.
I was wondering how tho.
I put the msn exe in my e drive, mounted hda50, explored it and then i saw the exe. So i click on it and it says "what would you like to do with this file."
1. "create a new filetype for this extentions."
2. "Add this extension to an existing filetype"
3. "Enter a command to open with"
4. "View file"
5. "Cancel"
I also "tried" a root access method but only came up with "cannot find"
Can anyone tell me whats the deal, help me get morpheus or msn running. thanks.

You need to run the exe inside QEMU, not directly from Linux. Look for the tutorial in this forum on how to get Windows 98 running inside QEMU on Xdsl.

You can't simply run a exe file inside qemu. qemu is an x86 computer emulator that is capable of running an operating system such as windows, linux and others. So if you want to run an exe file you will have to run linux (XDSL is a good choice) and use the
wine application to run your exe file. Wine is not compatable with all exe files though.
