I have a v1.4 system with a SmartXX chip. When I go to the original Xbox menu it doesnt connect to anything. A message pops up that says something about a network error. I use XBC all the time and its fine. How do I fix this?

Hey buddy.. You can't go online with a chip installed.. heres a few reasons why.
1) Microsoft detects the chip and bans you, you cry and they still don't give you a refund because the modchip is probable cause for piracy.
2) The chip your using blocks Xbox Live, for obvious reasons.
3) You did something wrong.
4) You're already banned from live?

You need to make sure your chip is in disabled or original mode to go on Xbox Live. Also make sure your EEPROM aint banned.
