What do you do when you come across a guy that bought thease two items and you can't seem to fit the adapter on to the motherboard its as if the holes you put them in are smaller or something

when he first told me about it i thought it was pritty stupid he couldn't even install a solderless modchip
but then once going over there and taking a look at it for myself i realized you really couldn't install it with

the adapter so what's going on I've installed tons of chips for the xbox from 1.0 to 1.6b and I've never see anything like this before any idea why I can't get it mounted on there?

I told him just let me buy the pin-header and install it but he's hell bent on staying away from soldering his xbox

I believe the C variant has something to make the holes smaller but I can't remember what it's called, try searching...
